The Harvey-Wilder Foundation was established in 2015 by graduates and supporters of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU). Based in Georgia, the Foundation initially worked to raise awareness of HBCUs for high school seniors in Middle GA and has quickly opened up to high school seniors across the country.

Being thoroughly immersed by family and other HBCU graduates, we understand the importance of education. We also acknowledge the financial challenges of attaining a degree at both public and private institutions. With this in mind, we established the foundation to preserve the history of HBCUs while providing financial resources to students who have chosen to experience and continue the legacy of these institutions that are a critical part of our communities.
